Episode 3 - "The Videogame Episode" - Out Now

Episode 3 is finally finished. I'm not sure if I was able to completely get the audio volume leveled out, so e-mail me if there are any problems.

This episode covers most of Bad Religion songs featured in videogames. I also do a feature on Greg Heston, and the webcam contreversy a few months ago.

Songs Featured In This Episode:
Hear It - Live in Gothenberg, 1999.
Big Bang - Live from We're Not The Damned, 1989.
You - Demo, recorded before the release of No Control.
Empty Causes - Live in London 1996.
10 in 2010 - Live At KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas, 2002.
Infected - Ripped From Guitar Hero, with ikillkenny on guitar.
Frogger - Live From Delerium of Disorder Bootleg.
No Direction - Live At Santa Monica, 1999.
I Love My Computer - Live At the Farmclub, 1999-ish.
Inner Logic - Live At Tuxedo Junction, 1996.

Excellent work. The sound quality is much better than before. It just keeps getting better and better. I'm still waiting on getting to hear You Don't Belong or Eiphany. Heh It's alright if you can't get to it for a long time. You probably have a ton of requests to quench, but just don't stop publishing this podcast. Keep it up

I would play a live version of You Don't Belong, but I don't think one exists.

I did actually play Epiphany at the end of the second show.

Yeah..... hahaha I kinda hadn't finished listening through Episode 2 at the time of leaving the comments.... Sorry to bother you constantly about Epiphany. Heh. And if I understand it correctly, you only want to play rare or live versions of each song, so I understand the lack of playing You Don't Belong. At first I didn't get it, I didn't get the fact that you only want to play live and rare versions of the songs, so sorry about pestering you with that too. Heheh Also, I can't figure out how to get more than just the first episode of the podcast on iTunes. It wont update beyond the first epidsode. The "Subscribe to Podcast" option doesn't work with the www.doc.ent.com/br/BRP03.mp3 doesnt work to put in. Do you tell from what I said what I'm doing wrong? Well thanks anways... Keep up the good work man.

Try right clicking on the podcast and hitting "Update Podcast".

If that's not working, it might be something with my feed.

Yea I tried updating, but all I get is the first episode... Oh well... thanks anyways I am, by the way, using a mac, which I can't imagine why, would have something to do with it. Thanks though. I made it through the third episode finally, and the webcam stuff really came as a shock to me! I'm one of those people who consider good ol' Greg and Mr. Brett to be my idols(Brett a little more due to the fact that I play guitar in a band too but heh) but yea, I certainly hope it was all a hoax...

Hrmm, I was actually using the other feed, "brpodcast.xml". It looks like "britunespodcast.xml" is having trouble updating. I'll look into why that is happening.

They never play You Don't Belong, although I actually thought I heard the verse's lead guitar during the sound check before last year's gig at Rockefeller, Oslo. I asked Brooks whether they played it or not, and it turned out that my ears was playing my mind a trick, 'cause they apparently didn't after all. It's a great song, one of my favorites (in fact totally opposing to the fact that I dislike Epiphany and Sorrow on that album). Anyway, regarding the supposed 'web cam scandal'... who even cares? If you look at the picture of Greg's head in one of the pictures, the top right side of is head is practically missing, like, cut out. This, compiled with all the other evidental factors that point towards the highly likeliness of photoshopping, rules out any reason to even considering whether it could be true or not. It's not. And EVEN IF IT WAS: it's not news, it's just humanity in as average a display you'll ever see.

Again, great work, episode 4 will be a blast I'm sure!
