Episode 24 - The Show

Episode 24 - The Show of the Bad Religion Podcast is now online.  This episode contains a description of how the DC Bad Religion show went, as well as a 40 minute interview with Jay Bentley and Brian Baker. I also play sound check songs, Dearly Beloved and 52 Seconds, from the show. Additionally, I play Zombie Apocalypse by The Innocent, and 1000 Memories and Change of Ideas by Bad Religion from an Argentina show in 2001.

Great Podcast man. I wish I could interview Jay and Brian. And just a thought... Isn't Bad Religion Day coming up soon? I'm pretty sure it's the 1st or 2nd week in November.

I agree. American Lesion is definitely better than Cold as the Clay.

Disagree - Cold as the Clay is slightly better, but both are great albums. AL has a few bad songs like In the Mirror or The Elements, CatC I would listen to all songs on.

In the Mirror is awesome. Where else do you hear Graffin saying, "You piece of shit" over and over again?

Yeah I don't like that! You can't listen to it as a proper song. That part spoils it!

But... that's the best part.

LOL, this reminds me of the first time I heard In The Mirror. It was like, a few weeks before Cold As The Clay came out, and I bought American Lesion on iTunes. My dad was driving me somewhere, and I was listening to AL on my iPod. In The Mirror came on, and I was thinking "hmm, this is actually pretty good", and then suddenly Graffin says "You piece of shit, you piece of shit, you piece of shiiii-iiiit" and I started to crack up. My dad gave me the best O_o face ever and asked what I was laughing about. I just told him a song.
Almost every time I hear those lines I smirk a little.

In regards to American Lesion being better:

I disagree. Maybe it's my tendency to dig folk instead of Carole King or Todd Rundgren, but I would say that CatC is the better album.

That, and it has the members of the Weakerthans playing on the originals. That's like an automatic win.

What ever happened to The Answer Wiki?

It still needs to have more stuff from the original The Answer moved over. Also Kristopher from thebrpage.net is working on a new site design and stuff, so once thats done I think the wiki will be moved over to their servers

Hey, I found this on myspace and I want other opinions. This profile has some Bad Religion songs like "Punk Rock Song"and "The Answer" that I know are real but then there is "Tainted Love" that is supposedly by Badreligion as well. I think it sounds a lil like Greg but I doubt it. Does anyone else think it's real? It's on myspace.com/whatever42
